Victor Osimhen made a significant impact in Nigeria’s recent match against the Republic of Benin, scoring just six minutes after coming on as a substitute. The Galatasaray forward has shared his pre-goal instructions to teammate Semi Ajayi.

In an interview on the Counter Attack Podcast, Osimhen revealed that he instructed Ajayi not to touch the ball when Wilfred Ndidi delivered the cross. “I’ve reviewed the goal several times. During our last training session before the game, Aina, Awoniyi, Wilfred, and I practiced this exact scenario multiple times to perfect the cross into the penalty area,” he said.
