The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi has accused the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of disseminating misleading information and attempting to discredit the APC through false claims. The APC has alleged that the SDP is using its name to falsely suggest judicial victories in order to undermine the justice system by implying that the APC is privy to future court decisions.

According to APC representatives, this tactic was employed unsuccessfully during earlier tribunal proceedings and has been repeated in current appeal processes without success. The APC criticized the SDP for not learning from past failures and continuing to engage in what it described as deceitful propaganda.

The APC further condemned the SDP’s approach as “unintelligent blackmail,” asserting that the party’s actions reveal its disrespect for the judiciary and the principles of truth and logic. The APC’s statement suggests that the SDP’s conduct is damaging its own reputation and credibility.
