Popular dancer and singer Korra Obidi has successfully obtained a permanent restraining order against a stalker who reportedly took inappropriate photos of her daughters in their father’s, Justin Dean’s, bathroom.
The news was shared by Korra’s sister, Nancy, via an Instagram post. Nancy highlighted ongoing issues between Korra and Justin since their separation, which have included public disputes on social media.
In her Instagram update, Nancy outlined severe allegations of harassment, exploitation, and defamation involving Justin and an associate. She claimed that this associate had befriended Justin, gained access to his home, and took photos and videos of the children in compromising situations, which were then shared with racists in exchange for money.
Nancy wrote, “Hello IG family. I usually keep personal matters private, but today I’m excited to share some positive news. My sister @korraobidi has just secured a permanent restraining order against her stalker. This individual had been defaming, harassing, and threatening her on Facebook for over two years.
“Not only that, but this stalker befriended my sister’s ex-husband, Justin Dean. While visiting his home, the stalker took unauthorized pictures and videos of my sister’s children in an inappropriate manner. These images were then shared with a group of racists for financial gain.
“Thus far, my sister has invested nearly $200,000 to reclaim her rights and protect her children. Today marks the beginning of what will be a series of legal battles to restore her maternal rights. We are relieved that the first step has been successfully taken. The stalker is now prohibited from contacting or approaching Korra and her children.
“I’m grateful for my sister’s strength and resilience. She has fought hard for her freedom, and while not everyone is as fortunate, she continues to fight for her complete liberation.”
