Addressing her followers, Amusa encouraged everyone to make HIV testing part of their health routine. She emphasized that knowing one’s status early allows for prompt treatment if needed and helps prevent further transmission. The actress also noted that in 2019 she had similarly shared her negative HIV-status in a bid to raise awareness. Amidst the controversy, she hinted at legal measures against a content creator who made false claims about her status.
