Veteran Nollywood actor Don Richard (Richards Oguntimehin) has issued a heartbreaking public plea after opening up about his struggle with kidney disease, revealing that he has sold his house and car to fund medical treatment—leaving him with nothing to fall back on.

On the Talk to B podcast hosted by Biola Bayo, Don Richard recounted the emotional and financial toll of his diagnosis:

“My kidneys started having issues so I told my wife… and burst into tears. I told her the next man would be lucky… I have nothing anymore.”

He disclosed that his wife sold their house and his 1.5 million Naira car to pay for his treatment. He also noted how close he came to spiraling emotionally:

“I begged my wife not to leave me… Now the money has finished… If something goes wrong I have nothing else to sell.”
