Renowned Nollywood actress and influencer Eniola Badmus has openly condemned a disturbing trend: some social media influencers using their platforms to wish death on others, especially over political disagreements. Responding via her Instagram page, she warned that hostility should never override our basic humanity.

She stated:

“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all. No matter your political views, we must never let hate override our humanity.”

Eniola encouraged Nigerians to choose empathy over hostility and pursue positive change through dialogue, truth, and unity—not violence or slander:

“As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity – not violence or death wishes. Let’s choose decency over division.”
