Afro-pop sensation Small Doctor (Adekunle Temitope) has graciously shared a troubling chapter from his past—one marked by hardship, eviction, and relentless hustle—all while raising his young son.

In an emotional Instagram post, he revealed renting a room at 17 Amoo Street, Agege, a house run by a tough landlady. The rent fell behind, and in protest she locked both him and his son inside:

“That woman and her sister used my eyes and @iam\_littledoctor see shege… 8 pm she’d lock the main gate (no going out nor coming in). And I dey ride okada, dey do conductor and also dey sing.”

He explained how he spent nights working as an okada rider, bus conductor, and street performer, turning profits into quick returns for his 4-year-old:

“I kuku leave house for @iam\_littledoctor at Age 4/5. Will only come home at noon to drop his feeding money and back to my hustle.”

He also described a distressing night when friends were detained at a police station nearby after simply greeting him. Eventually, he was forced to move out late at night with help from friends, leaving his belongings at Agbado Station.

Remarkably, despite the ordeal, Small Doctor has chosen not to hold a grudge. He extended forgiveness to his former landlady:

“Today I forgive the landlady of #17 Amoo Street… IYA IBEJI I won’t curse you but Mama E ma ko Onitiyin niwaju.”
