Nigerian singer Tems, whose real name is Temilade Openiyi, has responded to speculation that she was pregnant by American rapper Future.
In a recent interview on *The Breakfast Club*, Tems expressed her bewilderment over why Future was chosen as the alleged father of her supposed child. She questioned why the rumors didn’t involve other high-profile names like Wizkid or Drake.
“People always gravitate towards the most controversial stories,” Tems said. “I was wondering, why am I pregnant by Future? Why not Wizkid? Why not Drake? The reason it’s Future is because of his reputation. He has multiple kids and is known as a ladies’ man.”
Tems also shared her musical influences, naming Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Ab-Soul, Andre 3000, and J. Cole as her top rap inspirations. She was featured on Drake’s *Certified Lover Boy* album in 2021, and J. Cole was one of the featured artists on her debut album, *Born In The Wild*, released earlier this year.
