Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has touched hearts online after giving his wife, Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, and their newborn son Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala a dramatic and heartwarming homecoming in Tanzania.

The reunion was especially meaningful because it came exactly one month after Rakeem’s birth in Canada. Priscilla and Rakeem landed in Tanzania to a beautiful surprise from Juma, who was waiting at the airport to receive them.

When they arrived, Juma Jux greeted them with fresh flowers and gifts. Then the celebrations continued at home, where Priscilla walked into a blue-themed welcome party complete with balloons, framed photos, and a banner that read: “Welcome Home Mommy and Rakeem.” A large standee bearing little Rakeem’s name was also part of the décor.

Priscilla’s mother, Nollywood veteran Iyabo Ojo, was part of the celebration. She playfully teased Juma, calling him “extra” and joking about how much effort he put in—even though Rakeem was only one month old. Juma responded with pride, saying: “My son. Yes. My first son.”

This joyful homecoming comes after Juma Jux was initially unable to travel to Canada for Rakeem’s birth due to visa issues. Despite that, he made sure to orchestrate a welcome fit for the moment when Priscilla and their son could come to Tanzania.
