Controversial singer Portable  has responded calmly after superstar Davido took a jab at his Ogun State lounge, Odogwu Bar, sparking fresh buzz online.

The drama started when Davido, during an exchange with a troll on X (formerly Twitter), bashed Portable’s establishment with a cryptic tweet:

“All these Odogwu Bar settings” 😂

Rather than lash out, Portable posted a throwback photo of himself and Davido from their 2024 meetup in the U.S., where the veteran had hosted him to dinner and gifted him a luxury shoe. He captioned the post:

“Zazuu zeh, ogo ni mi ni nu UK” (“I’m shining in the UK”)

The move was widely interpreted as a graceful retreat—or perhaps a subtle reminder of past goodwill between the two artists.

This follows a long-running feud that began when Portable claimed Davido had discouraged him from signing with Sony Music, urging him instead to sign with Empire. Portable accused Davido of “bad advice” and even suggested that if Wizkid had included him in a song, things might have been different.

Still, many netizens also praised Portable’s restraint, noting that while Davido had provoked him, the Zazuu star opted for peace over confrontation. One social media user commented:
