As the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers reach the halfway mark, seven teams have secured a perfect record with six points from their first two matches.
The teams leading with maximum points are DR Congo, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Angola, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia, all of whom won their opening fixtures in the qualifying campaign.
In contrast, Nigeria, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Burkina Faso are all tied with four points each.
The next round of fixtures for match-day three is scheduled for next month.
