Coach Ladan Bosso has been given a clear objective by Bayelsa United, according to reports from DAILY POST.
Bosso, recently appointed as head coach of the Restoration Boys, was brought in following the team’s underwhelming performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season, where they narrowly avoided relegation.
Bayelsa State Sports Commissioner, Daniel Igali, has set a high expectation for Bosso, tasking him with securing a continental ticket for the club.
“You are an accomplished coach, and we expect you to get us continental football next year,” Igali stated.
Bosso has a history with Bayelsa United, having previously guided them to a third-place finish in the NPFL during his first tenure. Now, he returns with the challenge of elevating the team to compete on the continental stage.
