In a recent interview with City FM Lagos, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, confirmed that the famous music duo PSquare has officially split again. He revealed that the planned collaboration to produce hit albums together will no longer materialize.

Paul addressed accusations that he had claimed to be the primary singer while his brother, Peter, was the dancer—a statement that reportedly upset Peter. Paul explained that he was surprised by the reaction, as he had thought they had resolved such issues in the past.

Paul shared that Peter had expressed his desire to leave the group directly to him, and he had also refused to make their split public. Paul noted that despite efforts to avoid repeating past mistakes and to ensure a fair distribution of creative work, the reconciliation didn’t succeed.

Paul reflected on the challenges they faced during their attempt to reunite, mentioning their song “Eja Jo” with T.I., which didn’t achieve the success they hoped for. He expressed regret over the split and frustration with the situation, stating he felt compelled to speak out to clarify the circumstances and address public perceptions.
